New vBlog!!! FInd Easy Ways to Push Your Comfort Zone and Become More Confident ALL DAY LONG!

26 Comments | Category: Business

So I’ve decided to up the ante for articles in the blog.

The new game plan is to release one video a week, and one article.

Just getting back from Vegas with a cold, this one relates to me feeling like shit, trying to get work done, and relating the process to picking up women, pushing outside your comfort zone, and building self esteem through choosing to TAKE ACTION!

It’s already 5AM, so I’m not going to get into too much more here, other than enjoy the vid!

So what do you think of the new format?

In the future when I’m on the road, I’ll get some pretty back drops, but for now, it’s the white back drop. Heh.

Please comment on what you liked/disliked about the new vid and what you think would be a good format for future articles/vids.

Off to Chicago!!!

loved the entering and closing of the video with all the music and affects…

I think you could really separate yourself from others by giving less logical videos and more crazy ones….i would love to see some video with the attitude that you act when out, because i’m sure its not so logical as in this video…it seems like all you instructors are making too logical videos….

also, really love the ‘mindset’ and your lifestyle goals kind of articles you putting…i think those really separate you from the rest of the pua community which is why i really love your blog, yeah definitely more ‘mindset’ articles, those are brilliant :)

I resonated with the story about where the electronics department is.
Life is weird.
The ups and downs in confidence are sick.

You pull the hottest girls and at the same time look not thaat comfortable on video.
It really is all about reference points I guess.

Enjoyed it. Very real and good stuff.

Really like your stuff Brad. I agree with the above comment that you should continue to pump out articles that pertain to the “mind set” you have. I like how you talk about life style development and not just pick up.

Keep up the great work.

what i loved about the post and the vid was the awesome haircut. those flowing mane of yours is so damn golden it shines so bright in my face i can hardly watch the video!
i would appreciate tho that, if you post a video, you write something about it, or wrap it up in a few sentences so people like me can read it everytime they want without actually watching the video (which of course is pretty good!)
keep up the good work brad!

Cool. This was all so relevant to me right now. Thanks man.

I liked how you used a range of examples from girls to travel to shopping to business. It’s great because this is all applicable to so many aspects of life.

I also liked the little bit at the end. Maybe you could sign off every week with a quick action step or something like that? That’d be cool.

Video was sick. High quality. From my design and video background the intro can be shortened a bit, less bits flashing in and out, get rid of the lens flare – its super cheesy. Definitely a better background will be way more interesting and reduce the echo.

Content is top notch and can related to a huge portion of it. Awesome stuff!

hey brad, love the new initiative.. it’s an example of pushing your comfort zone, haha

- filler words “right”, “whatever”, “uhhh”
- a little monotonic; i found it difficult to hold my attention… instead of more expressive (like, less chill, more enthousiastic)
- more snappy sentences, like core statements, that just go BAM… instead of saying the same thing in multiple ways, searching to describe something, blabbering.
- i thought i didn’t care about city backgrounds… but now i seen a plain blackground, i realize its awesome. it inspires me… the lifestyle of an instructor, in big cities, seeing the world….
- the contrast between the heavy intro and your chill voice was too big, but i really liked the intro!!!

just wanted to give you some feedback (man, that’s so valuable if you are creating content! just started blogging myself, and without people giving you feedback, it’s just a monologue with NO idea how it is received!!!)

feel free to trash this comment — cause i just wanted to send you a personal message!

keep rocking it!

Hey guys, I’m texting and driving trying to respond so I’ll keep it short. I appreciate all the comments. Just like with the written content, I figure it will take a few of these before they mold into a style that hits hard. So I’m interested in any and all feedback.

Awesome that you’re doing these, Walmart was the best part because it seemed like you were opening up and that helped a low-level dude like me relate to the great Brad Branson, which is good because it makes your advice seem even more accessible. The topics were good, especially the “what if I’m going out for a long time and not getting results” advice. Ten minutes is also a solid amount of time. I didn’t like the fact that you seemed kind of hesitant but I think it’s because you’re not used to doing these. Treat vblogs like talking to Walmart employees and soon you’ll be better than Tony Robbins.

Your vibe seems a little off in this video compared to your old ones. Didn’t really hold my attention…

Didn’t like the new style, the old short intro was much better. I am watching for the content not some weird intro.

But good video anyway, I’m sure you will have it sassed out soon.

Liked the video. something i have been thinking about though; i love the talk about exiting your comfort zone, but ive noticed after a while its not about getting out of the comfort zone its just about being a man of action, kind of like you said in your vid.

as my entitlement and confidence increases it begins to mean nothing to go up and talk to a new girl or whatever, its just expected. just like anything else, when you exit your comfort zone enough eventually you just become comfortable in every situation. TRAINING!! haha its so simple, yet so hard. hahaha

also check this out brad….no more disposable flasks for me. i just buy these now.

google “GoGo squeez apple sauce” or just click the link below.

loved the video. content resonates with what i’ve been trying to do recently and video delivers the message short and fast but rich in content. also like the fact that you can add side stories/examples and subtle messages that holds the attention without having to be too formal (hard to do this in articles in a way). keep it up brad!

Whats the name of the song? Can you give a list of songs you use to get pumped up before going out? Would be very kind, Brad.

This was a great video. I liked how you compared comfort zone situations, like going out to club, walmart, and skydiving. Your honesty makes your shit awesome.

Yes! This is awesome, man. I loved it. Once you’ve been in the game for more than several months going out consistently, this is one of the biggest things to understand. It’s one of those basics that once you can master, you pretty much have it ALL mastered. Thanks a million.

And cool songs! Happen to know their names?

Keep it up!

I think it would be really cool if you would tell some first-person stories about pulls or rejections and break them down a little bit, talk about what was going on through your mind and some of the things you did or said at the time. I think that one of the things that helped my game the most was sharing stories like that with friends because it really transmits your mindset in a different way. I think RSD has plenty of inner-game talk but it’s hard to find someone just writing or talking about things they have done and how they reflect they’re beliefs and mindset.

Hey brad, haven’t watched the video yet but if you want to get serious at this here are some advices I would give you :
- post a transcript (some people just prefer to read)
- put a “download” link (I personnaly always download the videos to watch them on VLC)

Those are podcast advice, but works also for vBlog… And just curious : why do you choose vBlog instead of podcast?

Cheers

Hey man, thanks for the input. I’m not too familiar with the podcast format. What’s the difference between podcast style and youtube vids? I’ll look into this fo sho.

Podcast is pure audio. The major advantage I see is that you can put on itune, and people get an automatic update when you post.
BUT you can also turn your videos into a podcast and put them on itunes. Exemple of a very succesful vblog :

http://www.mixergy.com/
(long deep business interviews, I’m sure you’ll love it)

Podcast version :

http://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/mixergy/id307744935

I would totally listen to them on the iphone if there was a special feed available for the audio version

Something that just worked for me for taking ACTION was to PLAN (on an electronic agenda, iCal, or iPhone…) my day the day before and STICK to it, move on to the next thing even if I’m late or even if I don’t feel like.

Otherwise I wake up, I don’t know what to do because I have to much to do and just procrastinate, begin to feel bad because of it, than I feel frustrated because my day begun badly and because I am a perfectionist I just want to skip this day (instead of doing something about it) so I can start over again the next day.

The result is me doing nothing, feeling bad and literally just sleeping waiting for the next day. It is HORRIBLE.

So in short, planning my day helps me A LOT.

Posting it because it could help somebody like me in the same situation!
